2) The research I was able to find differed my original train of thought because my idea was no where to be found. I wanted to so the link between networking and a society trend. Know it seemed my research pushed me toward the negatives and dangers of it.

Technology Review
First up, at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cL9Wu2kWwSY, since it is on the list page I am do not see a reason why I cannot use it.
"Did you know"
This is a you tube video that was put together very well and catches the audiences attention easily. The video is a couple minutes long giving facts pertaining to technology and the United States. The issue that comes to mind after watching the video is, what are the sources the creator got their information from.
Its message is given so strongly but it cannot go over the edge because one might think its fake.

"Facebook's Users Ask Who Owns Their Information"
This article relates to the ongoing issue with facebook and the terms users agree to. The article uses quotes from the spokesman and the chief executive to make the situation look like a bad corporate scandal. Next they restate the idea that many online user do not read the terms before clicking agree. This argument seems to be the link to where some individuals believe that facebook has taken advantage of the situation.
The New York time is usually a credible source, but this particular does not really bring anything new to the table the average computer user does not already know.

"Student Arrested For Classroom Texting"
This is a false argument that we went over in class. This is a site that pokes fun at the use of technology and the people attempting to control its usage. The author of the article seems wants to show readers that eventually occurrence like this will one day occur. For example, we no longer can text or hold a phone to our ears in the driver seat of a car. Its a control issue for this author, liberty and technology is what he want, but is it what the controllers want?

Outline #1 March 2, 2009
I: With the governments choice to reduce the budgets for universities, the student will have bare the burden with smaller class selection, larger student population per class, and a smaller bank account.
A: Smaller class selections with draw students to remain in college way beyond the national average and push them away to different universities together.
1: As class selections decrease, students will not be able to get into required classes that are needed for graduation or perquisites for future courses.
2: When classes are not available on one campus, individuals will venture and research other schools that can accommodate them.
B: Students will begin to feel crowded in classrooms competing for attention from the professors and fellow peers.
1: The student teacher relationship will start to fade, with teachers being discouraged to learn the large number of students’ names or even remember who they are.
2: Compatibility amongst students will no longer be existent, discouraging students to get involved with each other, with the
C: With budgets depleting across the board, tuition, and books with cost more for students, creating hardship on to supply necessities.
1: Fees accumulating into what is tuition lays a huge burden on students’ shoulders, causing conflicts in the student’s overall budget.
2: Not only with the raise of tuition, but also books, housing, and other school utilities are beginning to pinch student pockets tight.

2/24/09 Interview
I interviewed my father for this particular assignment for he as worked as a city, state, and federal employee before. He also keeps a on going interest to news reported on the media, view several at a time. So with this I believe he is the most knowledgeable on the particular subject.
Q: What do you think about the current situation concerning budget cuts?
A: Well, the government is completely messed up. There should be no reason for this to occur, especially taking away money from the Universities and public schools. What else? There is also the whole situation about the job cuts; this is being to affect so many people. At a point we might even be vulnerable. Everybody is having a hard time affording things, houses, cars, and just overall credit card debt.
Q: What do you think needs to be to stop the cuts from continuing?
A: I’m not sure. Hopefully this thing with Obama works out and things can start going back to being some-what normal. On the other hand it might completely screw us over. The main thing I believe in is that once the government stops spending money they do not need to , the country will be better off, for example wasting billions of dollars on the war over seas.
Q: When do you think the cuts will end?
A: Well I don’t think its going to be any time soon. These kinds of things usually take a while to turn around. But for it to be completely fixed in five years would almost be a miracle.
